This family desired a more substantial, energy-efficient extension to replace their existing conservatory without sacrificing natural light or garden views. We constructed a stunning orangery-style structure with solid brick walls and a traditional tiled roof that provides superior insulation and soundproofing compared to their previous conservatory. The elegant anthracite grey frames create a striking contrast against the warm brick walls, while the large picture windows with top-opening vents allow for ample natural light and ventilation. French doors provide seamless access to the garden and can be fully opened during pleasant weather. The solid slate-effect roof with matching black guttering and fascia boards creates a cohesive, sophisticated appearance that complements the main house architecture. Inside, the room is fully plastered with proper insulation, making it a comfortable space that can be used year-round regardless of weather conditions. The family now enjoys what feels like a permanent extension to their home rather than a seasonal space, perfect for dining, relaxing, or entertaining throughout all seasons.
